Last Friday we hosted our Indigenous Graduation, in which we honored four of our Grade 12 students in a beautiful and intimate ceremony. Our two Metis grads were presented with a Metis sash; thank you to Captain Brian Ladouceur from the Metis Nation of Alberta.

Our two First Nations graduates were presented with their first eagle feather; thank you so much to Elder Clifford Cardinal for presenting these and being here with us. 🪶

Thank you also to Elders Alma Swan and Jackie Steinhauer, as well as the talented drummers Donnelly Paul and James Minoose from Alexander First Nation. Thank you to Mr. D, Mr. MacIsaac and Trustee Nikipelo for speaking on behalf of Boyle School and Aspen View Public Schools. And finally, thank you to our Indigenous Lead Cary Marshall for planning and organizing this awesome event. We appreciate your hard work! ❤️
