A tragic loss for Ontario’s policing community. 🕊️ 
👉 Sgt. Brandon Malcolm of the Ontario Provincial Police died in a crash on Highway 401 in Cobourg
👉 The incident happened Monday evening while he was on duty
👉 Police say it involved his motorcycle, though they haven’t ruled out other factors
👉 Sgt. Malcolm was a member of the Northumberland detachment and joined the OPP in 2020
👉 He also previously served with the Canadian Armed Forces and Toronto police as an auxiliary officer
👉 Several officers responding to the scene were involved in a secondary crash and suffered minor injuries 💔 Tributes are pouring in across the province, with officials calling his death a devastating loss. 📲 DM us videos or photos of things happening in your city to be featured on our page #toronto
