Funday Sunday, with Hydro 1!!!

With facing this extraordinary situation in dealing with the implications of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Our business is continuing as normal. However we do anticipate a reduction in work volumes.
We will continue to work with the Private Sector and work with Hydro One in following their guidelines. Delivery of electricity is an essential service and as a team we need to ensure we are ready to support our customer’s in effort to maintain their needs.
I encourage all of you to take the necessary steps to maintain a safe work environment for your staff.

1. Requiring self-quarantine for staff who have recently traveled, contacted an infected person or are experiencing possible symptoms.
2. Limiting physical contact between field staff and admin/office staff.
3. Daily cleaning of offices, machinery and vehicles with disinfectant.
4. Maintaining safe distances on job sites and not sharing tools with each other and customer staff.

Additionally, Hydro One has directed that the following rules that we must adhered to on their sites:

When our employees are visiting or working on any Hydro One sites, Hydro One is requesting that we take the following actions: In the Private sector we will follow these rules as well if we are to be doing work on your site.

1) Employees who come to Hydro One/Private premises are to practice Social Distancing.
2) Employees, who have traveled anywhere outside of Canada cannot come onto or enter a Hydro One/Private premises until 14 days have passed in Canada, free from symptoms.
3) Employees living with people who have traveled to affected areas cannot come onto or enter a Hydro One/Private premises until 14 days have passed in Canada, free from symptoms.
4) Employees who are ill should stay home.
