Did you know that under Canadian labour law, your employer must provide time off to vote on Election Day? ⏳

🪙 Here’s what that means:
•You have the right to three consecutive hours during voting hours to cast your ballot.
•If your work schedule doesn’t already allow for this, your employer must adjust your hours, without docking your pay.
•You do not need to use vacation time or unpaid leave to vote.
•Your employer gets to decide when to give you the time, but they must ensure you have it.

This right exists to make sure everyone has a fair chance to participate in shaping their community. 🏔️✨
