Nestled in the countryside with expansive agrarian views, this estate project was designed to create a seamless outdoor retreat for a young family. The existing timber frame structure, which houses an outdoor kitchen and fireplace, served as a natural gathering hub, inspiring a layout that enhances both function and flow.
At the center of the design is the Mediterranean fiberglass pool in Graphite Grey, a free-form, organic shape that complements the relaxed, natural surroundings. Positioned parallel to the home and aligned with both the timber frame structure and two water features, the pool offers stunning sightlines across the property.
One of the water features doubles as a jumping platform, adding an interactive element, while the other integrates a gas fire feature, creating a cozy focal point where water and flame meet for an ambient, sensory-rich experience. A separate round spa, located next to the home’s main gathering space, offers year-round relaxation while serving as a visually striking feature.
The pool area is framed by pavers that match the existing materials, ensuring a cohesive look. Beyond the black powder-coated landscape fencing, a wood-burning fire pit provides a welcoming space for larger gatherings, offering a more rustic contrast to the refined poolside atmosphere.
To accommodate the estate’s natural grade, we installed armour stone retaining walls, stepping the elevation down from the pool area to the timber frame structure, and then once again to the fire pit space. Low-maintenance plantings soften the hardscape, keeping the design visually appealing while remaining easy to care for.
This landscape installation seamlessly blends luxury, functionality, and natural beauty, providing the family with an elevated outdoor experience that enhances their countryside lifestyle.
