ChainLink Disc Golf is proud to welcome the Hamilton Conservation Authority to the ChainLink Conservation Series in 2026!

The Christie Lake Disc Golf Course is a beautiful reminder of the long legacy shared between disc golf and conservation areas. First established in 2008 with support from course designer Glenn Forbes, & HCA staff, Bruce Harschnitz, the course has become a favourite for players across the region.

When HCA asked Ontario-based ChainLink Disc Golf to work with their ecology team to add conservation facts to the course, we were thrilled, especially once it was confirmed that the course would be receiving new super short tees designed by a local female player who loves playing the course with her nieces.

Christie Lake is currently ranked as the 22nd best course in Canada on UDisc, and we’re proud to support the efforts to support the course even further and make it more accessible for families and new players.

The beautiful wildlife polygram designs were made by a local designer, and these PDGA Approved discs glow in the dark and are made from recycled materials. You can find them at Adventure Attic, the Christie Lake front gate, or at https://chainlinkdiscgolf.com/chainlink-conservation-series-wildlife-polygram-glow-fundraiser-disc/. Each disc includes conservation facts that highlight wildlife that can be found at Christie Lake with a portion of the proceeds supporting conservation at HCA!
