“Painted Buoys”… original watercolour, 8 x 10 matted to 11 x 14.

An essential to our fishermen, but also a beautiful spot of colour added to many a summer home where they hang bringing cheery brightness to our lives.

While the cat’s away (Ben) the mice will play (Me)…this is an original watercolour on Arches cold pressed paper, reference photo is one I took in the Waterfowl Park. “Cedar Wax Wing”. Their smooth plumage in velvety sage green, draws the eye and teases you into wanting to paint it.
