The battle between the heart and the mind.
I have until noon to decide one way or another but I keep swinging between my heart and mind.

I am competitive, mostly with myself; I want to be the best that I can be, push myself, accomplish tasks to learn and evolve, reach goals and new heights... you get the drift.

Then, my mind has been observing and feeling the limits of what my body is able to do and take, given the latest development in my health. I want to discard that and tell my mind: "I can do this, what are you talking about", and the mind to reply: "remember what happened the last time you pushed too much, not long time ago". Yes, I do.

What's the happy middle? My mind is right but my heart feels crappy, betrayed, alone. I am angry, sad, disappointed.

I guess that's the part I need to process and deal with ... the decision has been made a few days ago and it is the right one. There will be other "noon" to decide by and I'll get a ticket for the next one! Dear Heart, this time, you are taking the whole into consideration. I love you too!
