The rule as they explained it was that it takes seven times for a consumer to see your direct mail flyer or advertisement before they remember it. It is an argument that has been frequently repeated by marketing minds in convincing perspective advertisers while they propose campaigns of direct mail, newspaper ads, etc.

The longer I have been in marketing, the more on point I think the rule is accurate and remains unchanged today. It takes frequency and consistency for your message to be heard. Think twice before you decide to give up after promoting your practice to a specific audience or using a particular method just once or twice.
