We invite you to participate in this Black-led community-based research project: The Every Child Belongs: Black Community Consultations. Share your experiences into building culturally affirming support for children with disabilities and extra support needs. The study is designed to amplify the voices of Black families and Educators in Toronto’s early learning and child care programs. The following demographics may join a focus group or interview—online or in person: 1. Black families with children (0-6 years) in daycare, EarlyON services, or other programs within the Toronto childcare system. This includes Black Parents | Grandparents | Caregivers | Guardians | Adult Siblings. 2. Black Educators, Staff, and Community Workers. This includes ECE | EA | Early On | RC. Over the weekend, our sibling and friends at DJNBC () launched their organization! At DJNO, we couldn't be happier to have one of our founders, Sarah Jama, and a crew of amazing folks bringing DJNBC to life.

While our organizations are completely independent siblings, our structures and principles are the same. DJNO is here to support DJNBC (and any future siblings) to continue to build and promote the values and practice of disability justice throughout all of these territories and around the world. More to come, friends.
