Marketing’s getting weird—in a good way.
If you’re selling cream cheese, the old play was ads and coupons. Now? You open a bagel shop. Not just to sell, people walk in, try it, react… ta-da, content.
Because today, everything’s a stage. Real life meets AI.
The brands people remember? Not the safe ones.
Marketing now means you're either everywhere online doing the AI TikTok tango, or you're actually outside reminding people they own legs.
Half-assing it? That's just expensive screaming into the void, my friend.
Companies drop five grand on cinematic CEO shots while some guy with a shoebox full of crumpled receipts gets a million views.
Turns out people prefer humans over holograms. Revolutionary, I know.

Hi friends and family!!
This is Georgia. I've hijacked my parent's page.
It’s that time of year again, time for fundraising for our Ride of the Mustang event at GMHS in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital, and I’m part of a team raising money for it again this year and I'll be riding my legs off.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount helps our team get closer to our goal. Any support is extremely appreciated. In my senior year, my friends and I are hoping to raise more than 8,000$, to beat our score from last year! Thank you!! :) My portion of the goal is $350.
Georgia Holland 🤞👍❤️
Instructions for donations, as it’s all online this year:
https://my.childrenshospital.ab.ca/team/806723
Click the above link, it’ll bring you to my team’s fundraising page (our team name is Koopa Troop; our group theme this year is Super Mario Villains!)
Click the big grey “DONATE” button
Scroll down, and under “Would you like to credit this donation to a specific fundraiser?” type in “Georgia Holland”. That will credit your donation to my fundraising goal of 350$ !
By donating any amount, you’ve officially contributed to a 15-year long tradition at George McDougall High School, helping to fund medical research since 2011.
Thank you so much!

The mom who somehow runs logistics better than an air-traffic controller.
The coworker who keeps the team sane.
The coach who tells a kid, “Hey… you’re better than you think.”
History tends to remember the loud moments. Real life? It runs on the steady ones.
So today’s proclamation is pretty simple: pay attention. Say thank you. Give credit where it’s long overdue. And maybe make tomorrow a little more equal than yesterday.
Not complicated. Just necessary.
Most marketing meetings start with, “How do we close the sale?”
But what if we just made someone’s day?
Send a real email. Record a quick video. Ask about their kid’s hockey game.
Tiny stuff, right? Except in a world of copy-paste nonsense, that little effort sticks. People remember it.
And weirdly enough… they buy.
