Unitsky String Technologies

The regular meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of UST Inc. took place at the company's headquarters in Minsk.

The first part of the event focused on examining the ex*****on of the decisions made at the previous meeting and assessing the outcomes of the company's scientific and technological endeavors in the second quarter of the current year. In the second half of the meeting, the council members discussed their preparations for the 9th Global Conference on Near Space Industrialization and the results of research on the development of innovative materials for uST transport and infrastructure complexes. Toward the end of the meeting, the projects finished by UST Inc. was discussed.

The Head of the Council, Anatoli Unitsky, the company's General Designer, expressed his appreciation for the attendees' inquiries and active engagement, and wished them continued success in their future research.

Christian Feichtinger, Executive Director of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) and a leading Austrian expert in astronautics, visited Belarus at the invitation of Astroengineering Technologies. During the trip he explored emerging developments in string transport technology, toured the UST Inc. office and testing facility.

The agenda included a roundtable discussion with UST Inc. representatives and officials from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, followed by a plenary video address by Anatoli Unitsky on “String Technologies on Earth and in Space.” A key focus of the conversations was the integration of near-space transport concepts with existing terrestrial infrastructure. The meeting also included Elena Feichtinger, Senior Advisor at the IAF, who underscored the timeliness and strategic relevance of the solutions presented by UST Inc.

Notably, the company “Astroengineering Technologies”, founded by Anatoli Unitsky, is an IAF member – the first Belarusian company to achieve this distinction.
