BONA Under 17 Girls Top 8 Tournament Set for Gaborone

The Botswana Netball Association (BONA) is set to host the exciting Under 17 Girls Top 8 Tournament ,netball event showcasing the country’s most promising young talent.

Scheduled for 9–10 May 2026 in Gaborone, the tournament will bring together the ’top 8 teams from across Botswana to compete over two action-packed days. With onlyone champion to be crowned, the competition promises high intensity, skill, and determination as teams battle for national recognition.

The event aims to provide a platform for young athletes to develop their abilities, gain competitive experience, and shine on one of the biggest stages in youth netball. It also reflects BONA’s commitment to nurturing grassroots talent and building the future of the sport.

Guided by the theme “The Best Young Talent. The Biggest Stage. Be Part of the Journey!”,the tournament encourages players, coaches, and supporters to unite in celebrating the growth of netball in Botswana.

Fans and supporters are encouraged to attend and witness the next generation of netball stars in action as they compete with one goal in mind — to make history.
