PSLE Results Improve as Pass Rate Hits 99.9%

The 2025 Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) results show a clear improvement in overall performance, with the pass rate rising to 99.91%, up from last year’s 99.80%. The Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) reports that more learners achieved higher grades compared to 2024, with Grade C or better increasing to 74.11%, and Grade B or better rising to 41.20%. Top performers also grew slightly, as the proportion of candidates obtaining Grade A increased to 21.42%, reflecting a continued upward trend in learner achievement across the system.
