Kraal Tracker

Kraal tracker 1.0 is a livestock tracking device that keeps record of missing livestock.

How to set it up

1. Buy & install the tracker at your farm/masimo
2. Tag your animals with the tracker tags (P30/ tag)
3. Add animal tags to your tracker using Modisar App

How it works

1. The kraal tracker keeps records of animals as they enter & leave the kraal. It is fast & it can read multiple tags at the same time.
2. If an animal does not return to the kraal in the evening (goes missing), the tracker will send the farmer an alert via SMS/ EMAIL & Push Notification via Modisar App
3. This will allow you as the farmer to mobilize a search party well on time to look for the animal before it goes too far.

Why we built the Kraal Tracker?

1. In communal farming 95% of all animals that get lost/stolen are usually outside the kraal. Kraals house & protect livestock, if animals do not return to the kraal for more than 2 days, they can easily be stolen or go astray.
2. Unreliable information from herdboys, it is common knowledge that most herdboys are usually not honest with the status of livestock at the farm. If an animal is missing, our tracker will let you know immediately, you won’t have to wait for days to know the truth.
