Motshegwa Urges Gaborone Council to Prioritise Service Delivery Over Internal Wrangles
Minister of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Ketlhalefile Motshegwa, has called on the Gaborone City Council to refocus its attention on delivering services to residents instead of internal disputes.
Speaking amid ongoing tensions within the council, Motshegwa said councillors were elected to champion development and address the needs of the people, not engage in personal conflicts.
"There is concern among the public about the level of leadership," he said, urging council leaders to put the interests of Batswana first.
