And just like that, we won! Thank you to for awarding Finding Her Song: Maatla A Mosadi with Best Southern African Short Film, written & directed by a brilliant Motswana storyteller and brought to life through a Botswana-US collaboration 🌍🇧🇼

Funded by the KOSINIMA grant, a partnership with Bantu Film Festival and of Botswana, we produced Finding her Song, an original short film written & directed by Motswana writer, Thato Akoonyatse. Congrats to the entire team who made this short film happen, and Lesedi Mphothwe/Veronica Pilane for representing us in Lusaka.

We have made it to the Nominees list of the Zambia International Film Festival. If you are in Zambia you can attend the festival from the 20th-27th September .
