🌟 A Beautiful Act of Honesty by Two Young Students ❤️

Two Class III students from Sherabling Primary School in Trongsa, Bhutan — Pema Wangmo Tamang and Tsheten Wangmo — have won hearts with their inspiring honesty.

While returning home from school, the two children found a handbag lying near the roadside containing cash and important documents. Instead of any second thought, they immediately handed it over to the police, helping the belongings safely reach the rightful owner. 👏

Their honesty and sense of responsibility are a wonderful example for everyone and a reminder that even small acts of goodness can inspire an entire community. 💙

🫡 The Royal Bhutan Police 👮

The Thimphu police have arrested two men, aged 37 and 36, in connection with a counterfeit currency case. They were arrested last Thursday after two separate cases were reported to the police.

According to police, the suspects allegedly used counterfeit Indian currency notes to refuel their car. They were arrested two days later following CCTV footage and information gathered during the investigation.

Police said the suspects reportedly confessed to exchanging Rs 1 M for counterfeit currency worth Rs 1.77 M from a border town in India. The counterfeit notes are mainly in 500 denominations.
