Sign Island

Adding to the creative excellence of the judging panel, Sign Island, a leading Bahamian signage and design company, partnered with the competition and brought their expertise to the evaluation process. CEO Kweku served as a jury member alongside the accomplished artists, helping identify the winning artwork.
Sign Island also brought the winning design to life, expertly wrapping the Easy Car Sales HongQi EHS5 with the selected masterpiece, ensuring the artist’s vision was flawlessly executed for display across Nassau’s streets.
A few weeks ago, we decided it was time to rebrand Sign Island, not just online, but on the road, where our work is actually seen.
So we stripped everything back and started fresh. Not to impress. Just to finally feel aligned with the level we’re actually working at.
Seeing the new Sign Island vans on the road now… it feels different.
Curious what you think.

👋 Meet The Mad Signtist — Sign Island’s resident sign genius, lab coat enthusiast, and the most dramatic person in the signage industry. He’s passionate, he’s precise, and he genuinely cannot understand why you don’t care as much about kerning as he does. Welcome to the lab. 🧪🪧
THEY SAID, “YOU CANNOT COOK IN A SIGN LAB.”
THEY WERE WRONG.
The Mad Signtist does not simply make signs. He crafts them. He brews them. He subjects them to precise temperatures, exacting pressures, and the kind of obsessive attention to detail that would make your average chef weep with inadequacy.
The kitchen is opened. We are cooking. And by the end, you will understand why a perfectly finished sign is not so different from a perfectly finished meal — except the sign lasts considerably longer. And tastes better. Metaphorically.
