Wow nothing compares to an autumn beach day in Rio

Starting with bloody Mary’s for Bfast then gliding onto the sand in front where you get incredible gin & tonics served to you (Rio got fancy)

Luna who is now officially enormous, running shamelessly through the sand….chasing birds at high speed with sand flying everywhere & on everyone

People shocked at this huge dog charging at them

All as we get are these enormous smiles from everyone saying “qual rasa dele” what breed is he?

He is a Leao da rodesia - a lion 🦁 of Rhodesia. In English it’s a Rhodesian ridgeback know where near as poetic as Brasilian Portuguese.

Everyone so happy to see this dog full of life & no one complaining about the sand his throwing in their beautifully lit up faces.

Days like today remind me of why we fell in love with magical place.

Heart centered humans stopping to talk to you all day.

Even the taxi driver home said pay me later just get Luna inside his tied and needs to eat….bless the soul of this land I appreciate you!!!
