Às vezes a mesa tá cheia, a cidade tá viva, o charuto queimando devagar… e mesmo assim a gente sente aquele silêncio por dentro.
Mas tem uma diferença grande entre estar sozinho e se sentir vazio.
Tem gente que vive cercada de gente e não encontra paz nem por um minuto. Eu aprendi que às vezes a própria companhia da gente precisa virar abrigo.
E quer saber? Tem um bocado de verdade nessa foto. Um cabra pensando na vida, olhando o mundo passar, tentando entender tudo… mas ainda ali. Firme.

Sometimes I look at this picture and think…
how could a yellow belt kid carry so much fire inside his heart without even understanding what the future really was.
I had no idea about the roads ahead, the struggles, the victories, the losses, the changes life would bring.
But there’s something strange about the heart…
it feels things long before the mind can explain them.
Somehow, in that dojang. I already knew life would demand courage, discipline, faith, and resilience from me.
And maybe the greatest lesson was never about fighting others… but learning not to give up on myself.
The future is always scary when you look at it from far away.
