A story of survival and a miraculous rescue that gripped our hearts.

Meet Sassy and Rocky, two resilient 18-month-old siblings ready to find their forever homes. Do you remember their story?

Sassy and Rocky started life in a truly unforgiving place. As tiny puppies, they were found trapped with their mother deep between boulders on an abandoned, stony beach. They had no access to fresh water and survived only on random scraps. When rescuers finally reached them, both puppies were severely dehydrated, malnourished, and terrified. It took a dedicated team hours of excruciating, careful work to free them from the rocks. They made it out, and thanks to an incredible team and dedicated fosters, they have fully recovered and are now healthy, beautiful young dogs.

Sassy- True to her name, Sassy is a sweet girl with a bright spirit just waiting to shine. While she was extremely shy at first, she has slowly opened up and is learning how wonderful life can be.

Rocky- a gentle soul who is named after the tough terrain he overcame. He is a quiet observer who looks to his humans for reassurance but rewards patience with deep, unwavering loyalty.

*Their Personalities & Needs*

*Dog Friendly*: Both Sassy and Rocky absolutely love the company of other dogs. A home with a confident resident dog would greatly help boost their morale.

*Patient Families Needed*: They require a quiet, understanding environment. Their new owners must be willing to invest time into building their confidence and sense of security.

*Adoption Details*: While they share an incredible bond and survival story, they can be adopted separately to the right homes.
