In the coming release we are planning a stunning feature - video avatar AI. It is using the ChatGPT and Heygen AI video avatars for voice interactions.

When the session is started, you need to click on the globe icon to interact. Other option (if you are not using voice recognition) is to use the chat panel.
Own video avatars can be created from dashboard https://sfu.new-dev.com with testvideo/testvideo and then from Rooms – Video AI Avatars. You can choose avatar, background, video quality and save the room.

The potential of using video avatars with AI is enormous - from personal assistants in online stores and airports to fitness or psychological advises or just for fun chat.

Updates included in version 1.0.18:
- Added video logs, allowing to track attendee activities in a video session. If enabled if gathers information about video session duration, starting/stopping screen share and recording, mute/unmute, start/stop video and basic info about attendees: mobile or desktop, browser, operating system and names.
- Fixed performance issues with virtual backgrounds;
- Feature request - to be able to pin the chat or screenshare by default;
- Presence button script update for better performance;
- Other minor UI changes and bug fixes.
