Inner Path Seekers

Hi everyone,
I’m currently preparing a new episode in our addiction series, and this one will be very practical.
I’ll be speaking with Kevin Cornelius, M.A., a certified TEAM-CBT therapist.
TEAM-CBT — developed by Dr. David D. Burns — is an evidence-based therapeutic approach.
Unlike many traditional approaches, TEAM-CBT places strong emphasis on motivation and “outcome resistance” — meaning we’ll explore why people sometimes don’t fully want to give up addictive behaviors, even when they suffer because of them.
If you have a question about addiction — whether from personal experience or professional curiosity — you can simply drop them down below.
I’ll bring selected questions directly into the conversation.
Looking forward to receiving your questions,
Jellis

As the year comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the things we did here at Inner Path Seekers — the highlights of 2025, what’s ahead in 2026, and to hear from you about how we can do better and what you’d like to see more of. ✨
Besides sharing the highlights and what’s to come, I care deeply about making Inner Path Seekers better — and I want to do that together with you.
Therefore, I’ve created a short, anonymous feedback form where you can share what’s been helpful, what could be improved, and what you’d like to see next. 📝
You can fill in the form here 👉 https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSepF1h_mmqLWovO4h085jLQOy33zksnwDbXcFHTXpbc2oTO0A/viewform?usp=header
Best holiday wishes to you all 🎄✨ And see you again in 2026. 🌟

If there are any thoughts, feelings, or behaviors you’d like to see changed that are getting in the way of the ones you desire, and you haven’t checked out my course ‘Healing Yourself Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)’ yet, then now—during Black Friday week, with the massive discount—is the best time ever to take a look.
As a therapist, I’ve worked with many people, and many of the theories and practical exercises I explain and teach in the course are the same ones I use with clients.
Here is some of what you will learn:
- Learn from a therapist how to correctly use practices from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Master powerful techniques and tools, like the chain analysis, to help you through tough times
- Discover what harmful core beliefs are and which ones you have
- Learn how to turn your harmful beliefs into healthy beliefs
- Discover why you are so triggered by certain things people say or do
- Learn how to work through psychological wounds and problems, and how to effectively be there for yourself
- Understand what neurogenesis and neuroplasticity are, and how psychotherapy can positively impact both
- Discover not only CBT practices, but also systems to apply them in your life
So far, we have 604 students and a general rating of 4.7/5 ⭐️. I’ve dedicated a lot of time and energy to this course to make it fun, insightful, and worth your time — and it seems that many students have truly found the course helpful.
You can read more about the course, check out free preview lessons, and read reviews and ratings here: https://www.udemy.com/course/healing-yourself-through-cognitive-behavioral-therapy-cbt/?couponCode=BLACKFRIDAY2025
And, if you like what you see, I’d be thrilled to welcome you in the first lesson.

Over the past months, I sat down with people who’ve lost someone very dear to them — and with a grief professional who has spent years walking beside those who are dying. I also shared parts of my own story of losing my dad at age four.
Across all these conversations, despite the different stories, ages, and circumstances, the common threads were unmistakable. 💛
In this post, I’m sharing some of those threads.
I’d also like to thank Phil Cohen, Laura Maliszewska, Frank Watkinson, and Bridget Sumser for sharing their stories and insights in our series on loss and grief.
These conversations reminded me how deeply human grief is, how invisible it often becomes, and how important it is to bring it into the light. 🕯️
