There’s something deeply special about meeting the women behind the craftsmanship. 🤍
This beautiful woman is one of the few pioneer artisans still preserving the traditional art of Agaseke weaving in Rwanda. A craft passed down through generations with patience, precision, and pride.
Behind every handmade piece, there are real stories, dedication, and extraordinary women whose work deserves to be seen and celebrated.
Moments like these remind me that PANIERY has always been about more than décor. It is about culture, heritage, human connection, and honoring African craftsmanship in its purest form.
When I first learned that she travels 8 hours by bus to deliver her creations, the first time we met, we bought all of her pieces. 🤍
