Public Health Photo Contest

We are pleased to share that our two photobooks—

have been officially cataloged at the Stephen B. Thacker CDC Library.

Having these volumes preserved at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)—the world’s premier public health institute—is both an honor and a reminder of the role photography can play in advancing awareness, advocacy, and dialogue in global public health.

For books born from a grassroots photo contest in Bangladesh, hosted by Gonoshasthaya Kendra, one of the oldest NGO, to now be part of the CDC’s official library holdings is a recognition of our collective work. These volumes will serve as a reference for public health professionals, researchers, practitioners, and students seeking insight into the heart of the world’s leading public health agency.
