বিশ্ব ধরিত্রী দিবস উদযাপন উপলক্ষ্যে কলবাড়ি নেকজানিয়া মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ে এক বর্ণাঢ্য র‍্যালি, আলোচনা সভা ও পুরস্কার বিতরণ অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়। এবারের প্রতিপাদ্য বিষয় ছিল— “আমাদের শক্তি, আমাদের গ্রহ”।
অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতে বিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের অংশগ্রহণে একটি সচেতনতামূলক র‍্যালি বের করা হয়, যা বিদ্যালয় প্রাঙ্গণ প্রদক্ষিণ করে পুনরায় সেখানে এসে শেষ হয়। র‍্যালির মাধ্যমে পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ ও জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন বিষয়ে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির বার্তা তুলে ধরা হয়।
র‍্যালি শেষে শিক্ষার্থীদের অংশগ্রহণে দুইটি গ্রুপে ভাগ হয়ে চিত্রাঙ্কন ও স্লোগান প্রতিযোগিতা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। প্রতিযোগিতাগুলোতে শিক্ষার্থীদের ব্যাপক আগ্রহ ও সৃজনশীলতা লক্ষ্য করা যায়।
অনুষ্ঠানে সিডিও ইয়ুথ টিমের সদস্য মালিহা ও রীনা “SRHR, SBCC এবং Waste Management” বিষয়ে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সেশন পরিচালনা করেন। তাদের উপস্থাপনা উপস্থিত শিক্ষার্থী ও অতিথিদের মধ্যে ব্যাপক আগ্রহ সৃষ্টি করে এবং পরিবেশ ও স্বাস্থ্য সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখে।উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সিএনআরএস-এর ফিল্ড ম্যানেজার সারোয়ার হোসেন, সাইট অফিসার তৌহিদ হাসান, সিডিও’র ফিল্ড অর্গানাইজার আফজালুর রহমান ও রুবিনা খাতুন। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন ফরেস্ট অফিসার মোস্তফা জাহিদ, স্থানীয় ইউপি সদস্য আঃ রউফ, বিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষকসহ অন্যান্য শিক্ষকবৃন্দ।
অনুষ্ঠানের শেষ পর্যায়ে চিত্রাঙ্কন ও স্লোগান প্রতিযোগিতায় বিজয়ীদের মাঝে পুরস্কার বিতরণ করা হয়।

We are happy to announce that the youth-based organization CEDIO has won the “Youth Equality Award 2026”.

This award has been given in recognition of the significant contribution and leadership of CEDIO in preventing harmful gender-based practices, establishing gender equality, promoting women’s rights, developing youth leadership and strengthening social inclusion.

The award was presented at the “Youth Conference 2026” organized by Plan International Bangladesh and Prothom Alo at the Military Museum, Dhaka on Sunday (April 12). The conference held various sessions on panel discussions, knowledge exchange, networking and youth-led initiatives.

Out of 102 applicants from all over the country, 6 people have been awarded the award. This achievement is the result of the collective efforts of our members, volunteers and community. CEDIO will continue its activities in the future to build an equal, rights and inclusive society.
