It is with profound sadness that we mourn the tragic plane crash at Milestone College, which claimed innocent lives, including the brave pilot, Flight Lieutenant Towkir Islam Sagar, husband of Ms. Aksa Hossain Nizhum, and Ms. Maherin Chowdhury, a teacher at Milestone School, sister of our colleague Ms. Mehetaz Chowdhury

Ms. Maherin displayed extraordinary bravery in risking her life to save children near the school gate, despite suffering severe burns. Her selfless actions, along with the courage of all those affected, serve as a poignant reminder of the power of human resilience and compassion.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Aksa, Mehtaz, the victims, and all those impacted by this heart-wrenching tragedy. May the departed rest in peace, and may the injured find strength in their recovery.Amin!
