Then you're not alone. Take your first step into research with G17 UAC Bangladesh.

As a part of SDG 4's project, G17 UAC Bangladesh presents “Research 101: A University Students’ Guide to Research”, an introductory webinar designed especially for undergraduate students who are curious about research but unsure how to take the first step.

In this session, participants will:

✅Understand what research actually means in an academic context
✅Learn why research matters beyond grades and exams
✅Realize that starting research at the undergraduate level is both possible and valuable
✅Discover simple and practical ways to begin exploring research independently
✅Get introduced to helpful online resources and beginner-friendly research tools

🎓 MME TALKS | Journey from Academia to Industry

The Material Advantage BUET Chapter, in collaboration with the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, BUET, is pleased to announce an alumni seminar featuring Dr. Rubayyat Mahbub Turjo.

Dr. Turjo completed his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and is currently working as a Staff Data Scientist at Tesla. In this seminar, he will share his academic and professional journey, discuss the transition from advanced research to industry, and offer valuable insights into building a career at the interface of academia, data science, and cutting-edge technology.

This session aims to provide students with a broader perspective on global research opportunities, interdisciplinary career paths, and industry expectations, making it especially beneficial for undergraduate and graduate students aspiring to pursue higher studies or industry careers abroad.
