Another sensitization workshop complete — this time in Bogura, bringing together microentrepreneurs from three subsectors in one room: Mini Garments, Machinery & Equipment, and Loom. That takes us to 10 of 15 under the Branding Activities component of PKSF's SMART Project.

Funded by the 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙠, SMART supports microenterprise development across Bangladesh while advancing climate-resilient and cleaner production practices — equipping MEs to compete in the marketplace and respond to climate-related challenges.

Bogura is one of northern Bangladesh's busiest enterprise hubs, and the workshop reflected that energy — three different crafts, three different production realities, gathered around a shared question of how to turn skill into recognized, market-ready brands. The discussion ranged across product differentiation, certification, and reaching buyers beyond the local market. The workshop introduced the project's vision, the support ahead, and the roles each side will play in turning that vision into market outcomes.

The series rolls on— laying the foundation for 700 individual brands that can stand confidently in the marketplace.
