On behalf of MMMRN, we are pleased to announce an exclusive research session featuring Md. Shajedul Hoque Thakur, Assistant Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). Previously a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Houston, he earned his PhD in Materials Science and Nano-Engineering from Rice University (2021-2024), focusing on additive manufacturing of bio-inspired sustainable composites, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

This specialized session, organized by MMMRN (Multiscale Mechanical Modeling and Research Network), brings cutting-edge insights on 3D printing innovations like sustainable wood nano-composites, machine learning for material property prediction, and molecular dynamics simulations directly to students.
