Interactive workshop on Exploring Qualitative Research Techniques

This interactive workshop intends to uncover and address the various opinions/beliefs of the faculty members on the pressing issue of AI and education and initiate a dialogic approach on tackling and understanding this at ULAB. It will discuss the potential uses of generative AI like ChatGPT in tertiary classrooms. It will outline the different ways educators can avail support from AI for their research, teaching, and assessment and also showcase how it can help students in their learning process. Furthermore, this workshop will also point out the significant risks embedded in it and how those risks can be minimised. Finally, there will be a hands-on collaborative activity part on making classroom lessons AI-inclusive and more engaging for the participants.
