MRDI handed over computers and other essential facilities to the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at Jahangirnagar University today to establish a state-of-the-art fact-checking lab to support journalism education and prepare students to tackle the evolving challenges of information disorder.

In addition to the lab, a new course on digital literacy and fact-checking introduced with MRDI's support will equip students with the skills and tools needed to combat mis/disinformation and fake news.

This initiative is a part of the Fojo-MRDI partnership.
