অত্যন্ত গভীর শোক ও ভারাক্রান্ত হৃদয়ের সঙ্গে জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, জিও-প্ল্যানিং ফর অ্যাডভান্সড ডেভেলপমেন্ট (GPAD)-এর সম্মানিত পরিচালক জনাব তাজুল ইসলাম তানভীর-এর শ্রদ্ধেয় পিতা গতকাল ৩০ জানুয়ারি ২০২৬, রাত ১১:৩০ মিনিটে ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে ইন্তেকাল করেছেন।

GPAD পরিবার মরহুমের রুহের মাগফিরাত কামনা করছে। মহান আল্লাহ তায়ালা যেন তাঁর সকল গুনাহ ক্ষমা করে দেন, তাঁর কবরকে প্রশস্ত করেন, নূরে ভরিয়ে দেন এবং তাঁকে জান্নাতুল ফেরদৌসের সর্বোচ্চ মাকাম দান করেন। একই সঙ্গে শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবার-পরিজনকে এই গভীর শোক সহ্য করার ধৈর্য, শক্তি ও তাওফিক দান করেন—এই দোয়াই আমাদের একান্ত কামনা।

এই শোকাবহ মুহূর্তে GPAD পরিবার মরহুমের পরিবারের প্রতি গভীর সমবেদনা জ্ঞাপন করছে এবং সকলকে মরহুমের রুহের মাগফিরাত ও তাঁর পরিবারের জন্য দোয়া করার জন্য বিশেষভাবে অনুরোধ জানাচ্ছে।

GPAD is proud to be working as a Joint Venture partner with DM WATCH on a major national initiative awarded by UNDP Bangladesh under the Strengthening Institutions, Policies and Services (SIPS) Project, with funding support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), to design and deliver a comprehensive capacity-building programme for officials of the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).

This programme focuses on strengthening the national statistical system by building the capacity of BBS officials in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, modern analytical tools, data visualization, and advanced communication strategies—ensuring that data becomes a powerful driver of evidence-based policymaking in Bangladesh.

Through innovative training design, hands-on learning, and continuous mentoring, this collaboration aims to promote a culture of data excellence, transparency, and sustainability, contributing to Bangladesh’s vision of a robust and trusted national statistical system.

Our team is currently conducting comprehensive environmental data collection as part of the Improving Urban Governance and Infrastructure Program (IUGIP) Master Plan Preparation for 𝐊𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, Rajshahi, Bangladesh.
