We have a big announcement to make. We want to make sure everyone knows that we are not done with this case yet - but the bunnies in the evil Akkas Ali home are now safe.

First things first, thank you everyone who reported this case to us. Thank you everyone who shared for help. And most of all, thanks to Kurigram Animal Rescue Team and their brave -

Akkas Ali, the guy who repeatedly let his cats torture (and ki/ll) his rabbits, has been located. The team went to his house, talked, and after a long fight, were able to secure the bunnies.

We at Bangladesh Rabbit Group - BRG will provide all the support and supplies for the buns and these buns will be a part of our foster network. Welcome, sweet buns, your new lives begin now. No more fear, no more pain.

We will keep at it, so this person is never able to keep any animals. He is a psychopath and deserves the highest punishments. We will do our best so this does not happen again. If anyone ever sees him doing anything like that, please report to us.

But for now, these rescued females are heavily pregnant. That means soon, we will end up with many babies. And we will need all the help we can get.

Keep the buns in your prayer. And keep the rescuers in your prayers too - they are young and they're brave. I hope they can do a lot for the animals in their city.

I will post updates of the buns as they settle down and get names. They are naturally very scared and they will need all the love in the world to recover from the trauma.

Today's rescue - Willow ❤️💔❤️

The neighbour of her previous "owner" contacted us when she witnessed massive abuse happening to this tiny little soul - thank you so much, kind neighbour.

This happened in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh - at the other side of the country. Thankfully we were able to get a foster home and treatment is ongoing.

If you ever see an animal being abused, please please stand up and speak for them. You're probably their only hope.

And don't get an animal if you can't ensure a safe and healthy life for them. They are not toys. They are not hobbies. They are individuals.

Meet Camino! Our newest rescue bun!

Last night, after midnight, we received a post screenshot that a "broken bunny" was scooting from one side to another side of the streets of Uttara Park, Dhaka.

She was thrown away on the streets by her "owner", possibly because of her disability. She was dragging herself around a park. Thanks to Nusrat Tabassum Mim and her husband who handled the emergency rescue and kept the bunny safe overnight.

Camino travelled to me this morning, she is eating and scooting around. She has several health issues, all of which need medication. She is getting her treatment now.

Please pray for her! ❤️❤️‍🩹
