সারা পৃথিবী ব্যাপী করোনা ভাইরাস নিয়ে চলছে বিস্তর গবেষণা। করোনাকালে বাংলাদেশের গবেষকরাও করছে নানা ধরনের গবেষণা। কেউ হয়তো চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে বায়োইনফরমেটিক্স এর মাধ্যমে ভ্যাকসিন ডিজাইন অনেকেই চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে জিনোম সিকোয়েন্স এবং ভাইরাসের গতি-প্রকৃতি নিয়ে গবেষণা।
কম্পিউটারের সাহায্যে ড্রাগ ডিজাইন নিয়ে অল্প বিস্তর গবেষণা অভিজ্ঞতা এবং কাজের ধারাবাহিকতায় আমরাও বায়োইনফরমেটিক্স ও কম্পিউটেশনাল বায়োলজির সাহায্য নিয়ে লিটারেচার রিভিউ এর মাধ্যমে নির্বাচিত সম্ভাব্য ২৩টি ড্রাগ মলিকুলস নিয়ে কাজ করেছি। কাজটি গতকাল লন্ডন থেকে প্রকাশিত হয়েছে Taylor & Francis প্রকাশনার Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics জার্নালে (Impact Factor: 3.310)।
