IDF Hosts Nepal Delegation: Connecting Nations Through Learning
We were pleased to host a 15-member delegation from leading Nepali MFIs, including Gyanpunj School of Leadership, for a one-week training and exposure visit on microfinance, strengthening cross-country learning between Nepal and Bangladesh.

The delegation explored IDF’s micro-credit operations through field visits, Center meetings, and member interactions, while also gaining insights into integrated development approaches in housing, education, skills, and livelihoods. They further observed best practices at ASA and Grameen Bank.

As a key milestone, IDF signed an MoU with Gyanpunj School of Leadership to further strengthen collaboration and future knowledge exchange.

Beyond learning, the visit fostered meaningful connections and showcased Bangladesh’s culture and natural beauty, including Cox’s Bazar.

তিনি প্রতিষ্ঠালগ্ন থেকেই আইডিএফ এর সাথে যুক্ত ছিলেন এবং আইডিএফ এর মাননীয় প্রতিষ্ঠাতা জনাব জহিরুল আলম এর স্কুল,কলেজ ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় জীবনের সহপাঠী ও বন্ধু ছিলেন। আইডিএফ এর পথচলায় তার অবদান চিরস্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকবে।
কর্মজীবনে জনাব নুরুল আলম চৌধুরী একজন বিশিষ্ঠ ব্যাংকার এবং চট্টগ্রাম স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জের প্রতিষ্ঠাকালীন সদস্য ছিলেন।
আমরা মরহুমের রুহের মাগফিরাত কামনা করছি এবং তার শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবার এর প্রতি গভীর সমবেদনা জানাচ্ছি।
