ভিডিও আপলোড করলেই সেটা 'কোর্স' হয়ে যায় না, ওটা বড়জোর একটা 'প্লে-লিস্ট' হতে পারে। আর সত্যি বলতে, ইউটিউবের যুগে মানুষ এমনিতেই ঘণ্টার পর ঘণ্টা ভিডিও দেখে ক্লান্ত। 😴

Primax Advisory Group থেকে ​বর্তমানে আমরা অস্ট্রেলিয়ার একটি অর্গানাইজেশনের জন্য তাদের 'কালচারাল সেফটি এবং এনভায়রনমেন্টাল ম্যানেজমেন্ট' প্রোগ্রামের ইনস্ট্রাকশনাল ডিজাইন লিড করছি।

​তাদের সোর্স ম্যাটেরিয়াল ছিল কয়েক ঘণ্টার ভিডিও ফুটেজ। খুবই রিচ, হাই কোয়ালিটি প্রোডাকশন, ইতিহাসসমৃদ্ধ এবং কমপ্লায়েন্সের জন্য অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সব কনটেন্ট। কিন্তু চ্যালেঞ্জটা ঠিক এখানেই, কারণ ভিডিও জিনিসটাই একটা প্যাসিভ মিডিয়া। মানে লার্নাররা শুধু তাকিয়ে থাকে, তাদের ব্রেন খুব একটা খাটাতে হয় না।

​আমরা যদি raw ভিডিও ফাইলগুলো LMS-এ (Learning Management System) আপলোড করে শেষে একটা 'Mark as Complete' বাটন জুড়ে দিতাম, তাহলে এনগেজমেন্ট হতো শূন্যের কোঠায়। লার্নাররা হয়তো ভিডিও প্লে করে দিয়ে অন্য ট্যাবে ফেসবুক স্ক্রল করত!

​তাই আমরা ভিডিওগুলোকে 'ফাইনাল প্রোডাক্ট' না ভেবে 'কাঁচামাল' (Raw Data) হিসেবে ট্রিট করলাম। পুরো স্ক্রিপ্টটা আমরা যেভাবে উল্টে দিলাম:

​✅ প্যাসিভ থেকে অ্যাক্টিভ:
লার্নারদের শুধু watch and forget মোডে রাখিনি। আমরা ভিডিওর টাইমলাইনে এমন কিছু decision point বা প্রশ্ন embed করেছি, যাতে ভিডিও দেখতে দেখতে তাদের থামতে হয় এবং critical thinking করতে হয়।

​✅ Micro-Learning আর্কিটেকচার:
একটানা ১ ঘণ্টার বোরিং লেকচার না রেখে, আমরা পুরো কন্টেন্টকে ভেঙে ছোট ছোট bite-sized চ্যাপ্টারে ভাগ করেছি। এতে cognitive load (ব্রেনের ওপর চাপ) কমে এবং নেভিগেট করা সহজ হয়।

​✅ Scaffolding বা প্রাসঙ্গিক সাপোর্ট:
শুধু ভিডিও দেখেই শেষ নয়। ভিডিওর সাথে আমরা জুড়ে দিয়েছি রিয়েল-লাইফ সিনারিও, চেকলিস্ট এবং ডাউনলোডেবল রিসোর্স, যাতে লার্নার যা শিখল, তা সাথে সাথেই যাচাই করে নিতে পারে।

​মনে রাখবেন, LMS বা ওয়েবসাইট হল জাস্ট একটা 'কন্টেইনার' বা পাত্র। এর ভেতরে যা আছে তা কি নেটফ্লিক্সের মতো বিনোদন হবে, নাকি সত্যিই কোন ট্রান্সফরমেটিভ লার্নিং হবে, সেটা নির্ধারণ করবে আপনার ইনস্ট্রাকশনাল ডিজাইন স্ট্র্যাটেজি।

​আপনার বানানো ই-লার্নিং কোর্স যদি লার্নারের কাছে অফিসের 'বোঝা' বা 'বাড়তি কাজ' মনে হয়, তাহলে আপনি তাদের শেখাচ্ছেন না, শুধুই একটা চেকলিস্ট পূরণ করছেন। 🎯

𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲.

​In the corporate world, we are often obsessed with quarterly targets, immediate ROI, and fast growth. But lately, my consulting work with a social impact foundation has forced me to recalibrate my definition of "success."

​When you are strategizing for a non-profit or a mission-driven organization, the KPIs change. You aren't just looking at the balance sheet for this year; you are looking at the impact that will remain twenty, thirty, or fifty years from now.

​This brings to mind the concept of "Servant Leadership" coined by Robert Greenleaf. He argued that the primary goal of a leader is to serve. It flips the traditional pyramid upside down.

​In managing these social impact projects, I’ve realized a few core truths:

1️⃣ ​Empathy is a Strategy: You cannot design a solution for a community if you haven't walked a mile in their shoes. Data is important, but human stories are the compass.

2️⃣ ​Sustainability over Speed: In the business of changing lives, "fast" is often the enemy of "lasting." We are building systems, not just executing campaigns.

3️⃣ ​The Generational View: The most profound question a leader can ask is not "What can I achieve today?" but "What am I building that will outlast me?"

​We are essentially trying to plant trees under whose shade we do not expect to sit. That is the ultimate test of leadership.

​Whether you are running a Fortune 500 company or a small community project, the question remains the same:
