ক্যামেরার লেন্সের ওপারে দাঁড়িয়ে দেখেছিলাম এক কিংবদন্তিকে; তাঁর বেজ গিটারের প্রতিটি তারের কাঁপনে, আঙুলের প্রতিটি ছোঁয়ায় এবং সে সাথে উনার কালজয়ী কন্ঠস্বরে যেন জীবনের নতুন এক অর্থ খুঁজে পেয়েছিলাম। সেদিন শুধু ছবি তুলিনি, অনুভব করেছিলাম সুরের মহত্ত্ব, ভালোবাসার বিশুদ্ধতা।
তারপর দিন কেটেছে, আলোচনা হয়েছে, ট্যুর হয়েছে, জীবনের একটা অধ্যায় একসঙ্গে পার করেছি… আপনি শুধু একজন শিল্পী ছিলেন না, ছিলেন আমার বড় ভাই, পথপ্রদর্শক।
আজও স্টেজের আলো জ্বলে, সুর বাজে, কিন্তু সেই পরিচিত ছায়া আর নেই। আজ ক্যামেরার লেন্সে তাকালে মনে হয়, আপনি ঠিক পাশেই আছেন… কিন্তু বাস্তবতা মনে করিয়ে দেয়— "চুপচুপ কথা বলে… ইতিহাস"
আপনি নেই, কিন্তু আপনার সুর, আপনার শিক্ষা, আপনার গল্প ইতিহাস হয়ে বেঁচে থাকবে আজীবন।
