🌟 Successful Seminar & Prize Giving Ceremony — Science Fair🌟

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of our Seminar and Prize-Giving Ceremony, held on 24th November, organized by the East West University Science Club (EWUScC).

It was an honour to have esteemed guests and respected faculty join us on this special occasion:

👨‍🔬 Dr. Mubarak Ahmad Khan, a distinguished Bangladeshi scientist, is globally recognized as the leading researcher in jute’s commercial applications.
He currently serves as the Scientific Advisor of BJMC, contributing groundbreaking innovations such as the Sonali Bag, Jutin, and jute-based safety materials.
For his remarkable contributions to science, he was honored with the Independence Award 2024, the highest civilian award of Bangladesh.

👩‍🔬 Dr. Afroza Shelley, Professor at the Department of Nuclear Engineering, University of Dhaka, graced the event with her insightful presence.
She conducted a highly informative seminar titled “Facts vs. Myths: Radiation Safety Systems of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant.”
Her session helped participants gain a clearer, science-based understanding of nuclear safety and dispelled common misconceptions.
