A society begins to rot when its children stop being safe.

Another child lost.
Another shattered family.
Another nation briefly horrified before slowly moving on.

Evil has always existed.
What frightens me now is the numbness surrounding it.

Protect your children fiercely.
Know where they are.
Know who they are with.
Listen when something feels wrong.

Because vigilance is no longer paranoia. It is parenting.

And justice must not arrive as theatre or symbolism. It must be swift, proportionate, and uncompromising. A society that cannot protect its children, or punish those who prey on them, is failing its most sacred duty.

May our children grow up safe, heard, and protected.
And may we never become so desensitized to tragedy that we stop fighting for them.
