পরের দিন লুকা আমাকে তার বাসায় ডিনারের জন্য আমন্ত্রণ জানায়। আমি ভাবলাম, যেহেতু রাজিব ও তার স্ত্রী এবং লুকা ও তার স্ত্রী — সবাই লন্ডনেই থাকেন, তাই তাদের একসাথে পরিচয় করিয়ে দিয়ে সন্ধ্যাটাকে আরও স্মরণীয় করে তোলা যায়। আমি সবসময় নতুন মানুষের সাথে পরিচিত হতে এবং একজনের সাথে আরেকজনের সংযোগ তৈরি করে নিজের নেটওয়ার্ক আরও বড় করতে ভালোবাসি।

আমরা একসাথে দারুণ একটি সন্ধ্যা কাটিয়েছি। অল্প সময়ের মধ্যেই এত সুন্দর ইতালিয়ান খাবারের আয়োজন করার জন্য লুকা এবং তার স্ত্রীকে অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ।

ছবিতে যদি খেয়াল করে থাকেন, আমার হাতে একটি জিনিস রয়েছে — এটি আমার Galaxy S23 Ultra-এর S Pen। এর অন্যতম দারুণ একটি ফিচার ছিল বিল্ট-ইন Bluetooth বাটন, যার মাধ্যমে দূর থেকে রিমোটের মতো ছবি তোলা যেত। Samsung এই ফিচারটি শুধুমাত্র পরবর্তী জেনারেশন S24 Ultra পর্যন্ত রেখেছিল, এরপরের নতুন মডেলগুলো থেকে পুরোপুরি বাদ দিয়ে দেয়।

সত্যি বলতে, Samsung-এর এই সিদ্ধান্ত আমার কাছে একেবারেই অযৌক্তিক এবং স্পষ্টভাবে একটি downgrade মনে হয়েছে। একজন solo traveler হিসেবে এই ফিচারটি আমার জন্য ভীষণ উপকারী ছিল, কারণ সব জায়গায় ছবি তুলে দেওয়ার মতো কাউকে খুঁজে পাওয়া সবসময় সহজ হয় না।

The next day, Luca invited me over to his place for dinner. I thought it would be a great opportunity to make the evening even more memorable by introducing Rajib and his wife to Luca and his wife, since they all live in London. I genuinely enjoy building connections and expanding my network by bringing good people together.

We had a wonderful evening together, and special thanks to Luca and his wife for arranging such a beautiful Italian cuisine within such a short span of time.

If you notice, I’m holding something in my hand — the S Pen from my Galaxy S23 Ultra. One of its most useful features was the built-in Bluetooth button, which allowed me to click photos remotely from a distance. Samsung kept this feature only up until the next generation, the S24 Ultra, and removed it entirely from the newer models afterwards.

Honestly, that decision makes absolutely no sense to me and feels like a major downgrade. As a solo traveler, this feature was incredibly helpful because it’s not always easy to find someone around to take your photos everywhere you go.

১১ আগস্ট ২০২৩ থেকে ১০ জানুয়ারি ২০২৪ পর্যন্ত, আমার প্রাক্তন স্ত্রী এবং আমি একসাথে বাংলাদেশ, ভারত, পাকিস্তান, আফগানিস্তান, তাজিকিস্তান, উজবেকিস্তান, ইরান, ইউএই, ওমান এবং সৌদি আরব ভ্রমণ করেছি। ভিসা সংক্রান্ত সমস্যার কারণে আমাকে তাকে বাংলাদেশে ফেরত পাঠাতে হয়েছিল। আমার একটি যুক্তরাজ্যের ভিসা ছিল যা শীঘ্রই মেয়াদ শেষ হয়ে যাচ্ছিল, তাই সেটা ব্যবহার করা আমার জন্য জরুরি ছিল। এর পাশাপাশি আমার পরবর্তী গন্তব্য ছিল বাহরাইন, কিন্তু দুর্ভাগ্যবশত আমার প্রাক্তন স্ত্রী ভিসা পেতে ব্যর্থ হন, যার ফলে আমাদের একসাথে ভ্রমণ চালিয়ে যাওয়া সম্ভব হয়নি। শেষ পর্যন্ত, বাধ্য হয়ে আমাকে তাকে বাংলাদেশে ফিরিয়ে দিতে হয়। আমি তাকে আশ্বাস দিয়েছিলাম যে যত দ্রুত সম্ভব আমি ফিরে আসব।

এটাই ছিল তার সঙ্গে আমার তোলা শেষ ছবি—মদিনা এয়ারপোর্টে তাকে বিদায় জানানোর ঠিক আগে। এই ঘটনার পর থেকেই পরিস্থিতি খারাপের দিকে মোড় নিতে শুরু করে। ডিভোর্স ডেট: ০৬/০৫/২৪।

আমি এখন পুরোনো ছবি পোস্ট করছি, তাই আমার অনেক দর্শকই বিভ্রান্ত হচ্ছেন। খুব শিগগিরই আমি সব পরিষ্কার করে বলব—আমাদের সঙ্গে কী ঘটেছিল, কীভাবে আমাদের বিয়ে শেষ হলো, যদিও আমরা টানা ৫ মাস ২৪/৭ একসাথে ট্যুরে ছিলাম। আমি পরিকল্পনা করছি এই মাস (মে) এর মধ্যেই বাকি সব ছবির সিরিজ শেষ করার, কারণ ঠিক এই মাসেই, দুই বছর আগে, আমার জীবনের একটি বড় পরিবর্তনের সূচনা হয়েছিল।

From August 11th 2023 to January 10th 2024, my EX-WIFE and I took a trip together across Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. I had to send her back to Bangladesh because of visa issues. I had a UK visa that was about to expire and I needed to use it. Apart from that, my immediate next destination was Bahrain, unfortunately, my EX-WIFE was unable to obtain a visa, thus preventing me from traveling together anymore. Consequently, I was compelled to return her to Bangladesh as an ultimate decision. I assured her that I would return as soon as possible.

This is the final photograph I was able to capture with her right before seeing her off at Madina Airport. After this event, circumstances began taking a turn for the worst. Date of our divorce: 06/05/24.

I'm posting old photos, so a lot of my audience is confused. I'll clear it up soon and tell you all what happened to us, how our marriage ended, even though we were on a tour for 24/7 for 5 months. I'm planning to finish the series of all remaining photos by this month (May), because exactly this very month 2 years ago was a turning point in my life.
