This year’s theme, “My Health, My Right,” reminds us that every woman deserves access to safe, respectful, and timely healthcare.
On this World Health Day, Shaathi organized a health camp in the Rayerbazaar slum, Dhaka, reaching 100 women and girls with consultations, initial diagnosis, and support for their gynaecological health concerns. Creating spaces where women feel safe to seek care and be heard is essential to upholding this right.
We extend our sincere thanks to Gold Kinen for supporting this initiative and helping make healthcare more accessible to those who need it most.
For the first time, these students in Rayerbazaar are sitting in front of a computer—learning, clicking, exploring, and imagining new possibilities.
In partnership with OCS, Shaathi helped install computers in underprivileged schools that never had access to digital learning before. This is more than equipment; it’s a first step toward digital literacy, confidence, and ensuring no child is left behind in an increasingly digital world.
Because every child deserves the opportunity to learn new skills, dream bigger, and shape their own future.
