I’m truly in awe. I feel so proud and deeply privileged to share the same genes as my mother :') I honestly don’t know how she and my sister can be this talented.

This time, I was the client and ordered two lilies with a delicate bud for someone very special to me, and the amount of care and effort they poured into them almost makes me cry. The pictures don’t even come close to capturing their real beauty and precision; in person, they’re breathtaking.

Ah the lilies are so big and heavy I have to carry them with both hands, and somehow that makes them feel even more precious.

Also I put a little effort into wrapping the bouquet, so maybe a little appreciation for me too, hehe 🙂‍↔️

Wrapping myself in a canvas of colors, making time for painting now feels like a luxury. The dedication, the effort poured into a single piece, the time management, the consistency, the motion...everything feels like a history of absolutely nothing.

I want to paint; I truly do. Once, it was something that relieved stress, something that made the noise fade. Now the stress has grown so overpowering that painting can’t even find its place. Life has become so hectic and exhausting that sitting with a brush and a glass of paint feels like a waste of precious time, even though a part of me knows it never really was.

Still unfinished; maybe someday it will be complete.
