I have a particular style of drawing. I always complete my characters then I touch the background. I tried to find articulate the psychological reasons behind it.
Why I Complete the Character Before the Background?
I’m a Character-Centric Thinker: I’m drawn to the core humanity of a character first. Their emotions, intentions, and inner conflicts. I naturally approach creation from a psychological and empathic place, needing to understand the person before their surroundings.
I Think from the Inside Out: For me, identity comes before context. I have to know who someone is before I can explore where they come from. The world I build around them often reflects or contrasts with their inner life.
For me, they’re not just shaped by the world, they shape it. My role is less like a creator and more like a witness to their unfolding.
I Seek Narrative Control: Starting with a fully-formed character gives me a strong foundation. It helps me navigate uncertainty by grounding the story in something stable and clear: a person with purpose and complexity.
I'll post after completing this.

"ভাগ্যিস তুই ছিলি, দোস্ত!"
She’s like a pink cloud on a gloomy day- soft, radiant, and always there to remind me of my worth. She turns my mess into laughter and my fears into courage without even trying. Her friendship isn’t just something I have; it’s something I carry with me, like my favourite top secrets. She’s my safe place, my biggest cheerleader, and the person who makes everything feel a little less heavy. ☁️
