Panicking and screaming "this is the end & book of revelation is happening- earthquake! flood! Amen! Amen!" is not the key. Always staying prepared is the appropriate path. We often accept the warning signs and obey them but forget the main message.
Maybe it's kind of response that defense mechanism triggers.
