Good Things Shared

I haven't been able to stop thinking about the horrific news from a daycare in Indonesia and every time it crosses my mind, I find tears in my eyes. 💔 😭
It’s a reminder of how much we trust strangers with our most precious children. While family provides love, daycares involve unknown people—and a child’s life, once damaged, can never be the same. We must research, verify, and trust our instincts above all else.
I have so much respect for working parents because I am a working mom myself, but I truly believe we must ask ourselves First if there is a safer alternative. Childcare isn't just a "mom" thing; it's a parental decision requiring both parents to be involved. We can shift work patterns so one parent is always present, explore remote work, or lean on the love of grandparents.
If finances are a struggle, it may even be better to wait and save before having a child. A childhood is like a branch—once it is bent or broken, it is never the same. Once those years are gone, they are gone forever. 🛡️❤️
Career and money can be built later, but our children's well-being should never be at risk. Sometimes financial sacrifices are worth the peace of mind knowing they are safe. Let’s stay vigilant and trust our instincts. 🙏✨
