DM70 und DM90 – HORN erweitert das neue PKD-Fräsprogamm um zwei Baureihen. Der Fokus liegt hierbei auf hohen Fräs- und Oberflächengüten sowie der gratfreien Fräsbearbeitung.

Das System DM70 ermöglicht hohe Fräs- und Oberflächengüten in kleineren Durchmesserbereichen und bietet durch die MDR-Kurzkegelplananlage Planläufe im µ-Bereich. Der einfache und schnelle Austausch des PKD-bestückten Fräsers mit einem Hartmetall-Grundkörper ist für schlanke Produktionsprozesse und automatisierte Produktionsanlagen geeignet.

Die Baureihe DM90 ist speziell auf Anforderungen mit hoher Performance ausgelegt. Sie bietet in den Kernabmessungen von 50 mm bis 125 mm Durchmesser jeweils eine hoch- und niedrigschneidige Variante. Die Baureihe überzeugt durch große Laufruhe sowie die präzise Planlaufgenauigkeit im µ-Bereich.

DM70 and DM90 – HORN is expanding its new PCD milling programme with two new series. The focus is on high efficiency milling and surface quality as well as burr-free milling.

The DM70 series enables high efficiency milling and good surface quality when using small diameter tools and guarantees axial run-out to within microns thanks to the precise face and taper contact interface. The simple and quick replacement of the PCD-tipped milling cutter onto a carbide body is suitable for lean production processes and automated production systems.

The DM90 series is specially designed for high performance requirements. It is available with long or short flutes in diameters from 50 mm (1.968“) to 125 mm (4.921“). The series is notable for its extremely smooth running and axial run-out accuracy to within microns.
