✨ The first TECA winners have been showcased at Maker Faire Sarajevo! ✨

This weekend at Maker Faire Sarajevo, we had the pleasure of presenting the first two selected projects developed through the TECA project
Visitors stopped, watched, reflected, and asked questions. Curious faces gathered around the screens as artists explored memory, perception, technology, and the traces that shape our understanding of the world.

🎨 One day, her house was empty. by Letiția Popa transformed family memory, surveillance history, projection, and sound into a fragile spatial experience about inheritance, silence, and the invisible marks left by the past.

🔍 Trace of Evidence without an Event by Alina Vuxanovici invited viewers into a world where the mind searches for meaning in fragments, questioning how we construct stories from uncertainty and incomplete evidence.

Although very different in form, both projects demonstrate how digital tools can become sensitive artistic instruments—supporting reflection, experimentation, and cross-border collaboration.

Through TECA, artists from Romania, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina are exploring new ways of creating together, using technology not only to produce images, but to ask deeper questions about memory, identity, and perception.
