UWC Mostar

This past weekend, UWC Mostar was the host of the 3rd Subregional Meeting of National Committees from across the Western Balkans.

Representatives from the region came together to share experiences, exchange ideas and best practices, and discuss topics such as NC development, fundraising, and selection processes.

It was a great opportunity to learn from one another, strengthen regional cooperation, and to connect.

We were glad to welcome everyone to Mostar and are already looking forward to meeting again in the future!

After taking part in an inspiring youth conference this April in Zagreb, five of our students wanted to share what they learned with their peers.

As one of the final activities before the summer break, they organized a peacebuilding workshop for all students. Together, they explored privileges and discrimination, freedom of speech, and the connection between human rights in theory and in practice.

The students shared the ideas and knowledge they gained at the conference through interactive activities, group discussions, and debate.

We are proud of our students for their initiative, engagement, and commitment to promoting dialogue, understanding, and peacebuilding. 🌍
